It’s very easy to stay in your own bubble especially working from home so reminding both yourself and your team that we’re all working together towards a common goal is important.
My day is split across different projects including working with our community, managing our premium members, and providing support to all Neeva members.

What does your team do? What are you responsible for?
Neeva in general runs lean. The Customer Success Team is responsible for creating a great customer experience for all of our members. Our team acts as the voice of the member ensuring that feedback from our members is heard by multiple stakeholders. My time is split across managing our premium members and community work.
What are the components of a strong remote culture?
It’s important to find ways to connect with your team even if it’s distributed. This could be a combination of bi-weekly virtual lunch dates, planning team building activities and monthly virtual happy hours.
Strong remote cultures are built on strong connections. Strong connections are built with Hailey.
How do you make sure your team is happy and engaged in their work?
We've started testing out Remotion among our team and it's been great! Unlike Zoom, it allows us to have quick chats and it gives the feeling of having a side conversation that you would normally have in person. We also do working sessions sometimes on Zoom or Remotion where we join a room and work on a specific task. It gives the team a sense of being physically together, while getting work done. It also allows us to bounce ideas off of each other and sometimes we even play music :)

My Remote Manager Toolbox
Team-building Activities
I try to set monthly virtual lunches with my coworkers. I also hosted two virtual escape rooms for the whole company which was a lot of fun. More broadly, we have an amazing office manager who sets up celebrations and happy hours for holidays.
Remote Games
We have a #wordle channel, of course. We also play Skribble, Mafia and used to play Among Us.
Icebreakers
Not typically but I want to start!
Products & Tools
We’re testing out Remotion right now.
